Stealth Editing

The artifact has been stealth edited.

Stealth editing is the act of making surreptitious edits to a published artifact in abrogation of the standard practice of documenting edits in an open and forthright manner.

Application

The Stealth Editing flag is intended to capture blatant instances of stealthy or surreptitious editing, in which the artifact is edited in an interesting, unusual, or surprising way—such as the alteration a major political headline without issuing an update notice, or silently changing salient details of a major story after publication.
